Our history
as a farming family
We are a family farm in the Campo de Cartagena. We have worked with dairy livestock, organic production and tools for analysing the herd.
The beginning
The family livestock farm begins in San Isidro, Cartagena.
Selection and parentage records
Continuous work on selection and parentage recording begins. The farm was a founding member of ACRIMUR; it no longer belongs to the association.
Organic production
The farm adopts organic production and opens CAPRILAC, its artisan cheese dairy.
Records and analysis tools
The activity focuses on dairy goats, selection and developing our own analysis tools.
CAPRILAC · 2004–2024
At CAPRILAC,
we made cheese
with our own milk
In 2004, following a university project, we switched to organic production and began making products on the farm. That was the start of CAPRILAC, our artisan cheese dairy in the Campo de Cartagena.
For nearly two decades we made products with our own goat milk and also took care of ripening and the finished product. The dairy brought us closer to our cheese customers and let us see how the milk we produced affected the result.
We stopped making cheese in 2024. We retain the facilities and what we learnt over those years; a buyer can consider the possibility of restarting production.

We have kept photographs

We keep photographs of cheesemaking at CAPRILAC, university workshops and television visits. They show how we worked in the facilities we now offer.
Milk and cheesemaking
Knowing the finished product strengthened our attention to the raw material and every stage: herd management, milking, cheesemaking and ripening.
Craft and sharing knowledge
We shared the experience in reports and university activities. The RTVE visit and the Universidad Miguel Hernández workshop offer a look back at that period.
